"Farm in Fall" 36 x 24 Oil on Canvas.

This series of fall paintings were done in September and October of 2016. Size ranges from 9 x12 to 20 x 24. These were all from areas in Cache Valley UT.

These two Black and white studies were painted from color photographs.  I continually fight the values especially the darkest dark.  Many times during painting the original values will disappear and I have to go back in to add, and in doing so fight with the drawing or lighten up the values.  both of these painting were done on canvas and 16 x 12 size.
